We are. The moment tradespeople are on site, your home becomes a workplace subject to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements. With turnkey contracting, we take on that responsibility and make sure the work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
Above all larger construction projects and complex renovations where several trades need coordinating, such as a bathroom or a whole home, though Unikum Bygg is just as glad to take full charge of smaller projects. Our turnkey projects include a townhouse of around 130 square metres in Djursholm, the entrance floor of a house in Ålsten, an apartment on Kungsholmen where the kitchen, bathroom and hallway were rebuilt, and a new sauna for Nordic Wellness in Södertälje.
A renovation with Unikum Bygg follows six steps. It begins with a home visit where you describe how you want it. When needed, a designer goes through drawings, materials and practical details. Once you have approved the cost proposal, we agree on a start date and a timeline. Before work begins you meet the project manager and confirm that everything follows your vision. Our craftsmen then carry out the work to plan, and the project closes with a final inspection confirming that everything matches what you asked for.
Yes, on the labour cost in your home. The deduction is 30 percent of the work, up to SEK 50,000 per person per year under the 2026 rules, while materials and travel do not qualify. With turnkey contracting you deal with one party, and Unikum Bygg applies the deduction directly on the invoice.
