The kitchen on Kungsholmen was rebuilt with made-to-measure shaker fronts in off-white on the existing carcasses, work where the difference lies in the fit and the detailing rather than in the layout.
An open shelf runs the full length of the worktop and picks up the line of the two wall lights, while a pendant over the island breaks the ceiling height.
The worktop is carried around the corner into a peninsula that separates the kitchen from the dining area without shutting out the light between the rooms.
The painted timber floor has been kept and left to run beneath the new kitchen, a reminder of the age of the apartment itself.
The project is a kitchen renovation on Kungsholmen, carried out by Unikum Bygg in 2026. We have built hundreds of kitchens, from new fronts and worktops to kitchens rebuilt from the ground up, within the agreed timeline and at the agreed price.
