What personal data we collect

When you use the contact form on the website, we collect the information you provide yourself: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We do not collect more data than is needed to respond to your enquiry.

When you request a quote in our chat, we also save what you tell us about the project and, if you choose to share them, your street address and door code. The address lets us look at the building before we talk and find the right place for the home visit. The door code is only used to get in for the home visit and, if the project goes ahead, for our craftsmen and deliveries. Both are optional. Files you share in the chat are stored together with your request.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is processed so that we can contact you, respond to your enquiry, and, if you become a customer of ours, administer and fulfil our agreement with you. The legal basis is primarily our legitimate interest in being able to handle incoming enquiries and, where applicable, that the data is necessary to enter into or perform a contract.

How long we retain the data

Data from the contact form is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and is thereafter deleted within a reasonable time if no business relationship arises. Data linked to an agreement entered into, or to accounting, is retained for as long as required under applicable legislation, for example the Swedish Accounting Act (bokföringslagen).

Recipients and data processors

We do not share your personal data with outside parties for any purpose other than providing our services. Data may be processed by data processors who perform services on our behalf, for example our web host and any web statistics and analytics tools. These processors may only process the data in accordance with our instructions and under dedicated data processing agreements.

Transfers to third countries

To the extent we use services whose providers process data outside the EU and EEA, we ensure that such transfers take place on the basis of approved safeguards, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• request access to (a so-called register extract of) the personal data we process about you,
• request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• request erasure of your data under certain conditions,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• request restriction of processing in certain cases,
• request data portability, that is, to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured format, and
• lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) if you believe we are processing your personal data in breach of applicable law.
