A full renovation of a turn-of-the-century apartment on Vikingagatan, where the enfilade and the ceiling height were left to lead rather than being built away.
The hallway is laid in a black and white chequerboard stone that meets the dark-stained herringbone parquet in a straight joint, and the stucco around the door casings and the ceiling has been kept and brought back.
The kitchen is held in off-white with an island in solid timber, and the bathroom is clad throughout in marble with the shower behind a glass screen.
The bedrooms have built-in wardrobes in sage green and mirrored doors, while the children's room has been given a pink ceiling that takes the whole room.
The project is an apartment renovation in Vasastan, carried out by Unikum Bygg in 2026. We renovate apartments as turnkey contracts with no middlemen, where plumbing, electrics and finishes are handled with the same precision in every room.
