The hallway on Södermalm has been given tile instead of a timber floor, practical exactly where the wear is heaviest.
The stone is veined in grey and meets the existing parquet in a straight joint with no threshold strip.
A small intervention, but the one that decides how an entrance stands up to daily life.
The project is an apartment renovation on Södermalm, carried out by Unikum Bygg in 2024. We renovate apartments as turnkey contracts with no middlemen, where plumbing, electrics and finishes are handled with the same precision in every room.
